Business Value Analysis

The business value anlysis service is provided by the Sheep CRC in collaboration with MLA to help lamb supply chains place an economic value on lean meat yield and so justify its in-plant measurement to:

  • Improve boning decisions;
  • Deliver enhanced feedback to producers including the concept of bonus systems for superior lean meat yield carcases.

Benefits:

  • Identification of the value of improving lean meat yield for a particular processing plant and lamb supply chain;
  • Assists with development of a Value Based Payment System

Recommended users: Meat processors

The analysis involves a six day, with-in business and processor plant consultancy (10 days including report generation) to explore the potential for enhanced and innovative communication, feedback and value based payment systems.
