In line with the CRC charter, the Sheep CRC Conference held in Adelaide in October 2010 combined world class science with its practical application. In addition to papers presented by many of the CRC's front line researchers, the Conference incuded a series of poster papers presented by our postgraduate students.
Importantly, a significant amount of time was allocated for discussion and insight from the audience.
With representatives attending from across Australia, New Zealand and the USA, we also welcomed members of the Tri-Lamb Group. This group added an international dimension to the conference and provides a valuable industry sounding board.
The format of the conference allowed for a brief question and answer time following each paper and an extended period for more general discussion at teh conclusion of each group of papers. These discussion sessions were chaired by members of the CRC Board and provided an important opportunity to discuss any perceived gaps in the research and to clarify opportunities for application to industry.
The conference papers are available for download and can be found under the 'Reports, Articles & Presentations' tab below .
