The next Genetic Service Provider training will be held from 20th May to 22nd May at the Best Western Attwood Melbourne.
This is the fourth training that has been run by Sheep Genetics and the Sheep CRC. Over two and a half days this will up-skill service providers working in the sheep industry in all matters of Sheep Genetics.
The Agenda is in the final stages of being confirmed, with the major themes of the training being:
• All the theory behind ASBVs
• Breeding program design and how to get the most genetic gain.
• Data Quality and management
• All the latest on Genomics including applications
Presenters will be from Sheep Genetics, the Sheep CRC and UNE and there will be plenty of time to interact with presenters to ensure that all of your queries are answered.
There is no cost to attend the training. All catering including dinner will be provided.
Travel costs and accommodation are at the attendees expense.
