Bred Well Fed Well workshop - Cunnamulla (QLD)

These free, one-day workshops are supported by Meat & Livestock Australia (MLA), Australian Wool Innovation (AWI) and the Sheep Cooperative Research Centre (Sheep CRC) as a part of a national program to increase sheep industry productivity. The Bred Well Fed Well workshop will provide practical training on how to use superior genetics and achieve improved reproductive performance from better feed management. The workshop focuses on the following - improved understanding on how to use ASBVs to improve enterprise profitability; how to develop a breeding objective for your sheep enterprise; better management of ewe nutrition for reproductive performance and flock profitability; and skills in developing simple energy budgets for the ewe flock.

This workshop will be held at Abbadoah Station, Cunnamulla (18kms east of Cunnamulla on the Balonne Highway). The property is on the northern side of the highway.
