Sheep and Wool Education Modules
The Sheep CRC in partnership with Australian Wool Education Trust, Australian Wool Innovation, Meat and Livestock Australia and the University of New England, developed a set of comprehensive and current information on sheep, meat and wool, covering over 230 discrete topics prepared by respected industry experts.
The initiative, led by Professor David Cottle, UNE, updated older and created new lecture units for undergraduate students nationwide.
The 10 units, listed at the bottom on this page, have now been made available to the wider sheep industry free of charge, and they are available on CD. Within each unit there are between 16 and 33 topics.
They are now administered by the Australian Wool Education Trust, which will provide a long term home for them.
As these notes were developed for students and are covered by copyright, you will need to sign and submit a form agreeing to use these notes only for your personal education (other limitations on their use apply).
