Introduction

At least 35 postgraduate students (28 at PhD level and seven at the Masters level) are undertaking scholarships to study the sciences that underpin the sheep industry. These include traditional biological sciences and management skills required for effective innovation, along with commercialisation and adoption of outcomes by the sheep industry. In addition, the students participate in a professional development program in a range of areas including best-practice innovation management, conferences and industry workshops.
